QuestionHi!
I have a huge (12" diameter, up to 2" thick) white growth growing between my native Texas yucca leaves. It's a type of mushroom or fungus. How do I get rid of it? It seems to be smothering my plants.
Thanks, Sylvia
Answer I think that you meant to say that the fungus is growing between the PLANTS. I say this because I could not find anything like you describe growing between the LEAVES of Yucca rupicola. Hopefully the number is small enough to go after them with a shovel or similar tool. I keep remembering that certain mushrooms are poisonous and since I never learned to identify them, I just take precautions - gloves, washing up and the like.
