QuestionWhat are some effective ways to rid lawn of moles. I've (1)treated w/ grubex, (2)am cosiderig milky spore powder for additional grub control treatments and (3) also regularly treat sandy soil w/ lime to keep soil sweet - all to discourage activity but I'm seeing tunnels. I am using granular poisons, poison worms - purchased from lawn and garden store. I was rcently told, moles may not be chasing grubs but could be feeding on worms. I am considering spikes that emit sound to chase off proptery - do these work? Do you have any other suggestions?
Answer I have not had to deal with this problem myself but it seems that the spring traps are the surest way to get rid of them. It seems that so far you have been using indirect means of solving the problem. They do not seem to work, if I am to believe what I have read.
