QuestionI live in Colorado Springs Colorado, I have always had a healthy lawn and fertilize in Spring/Fall. We have had a lot of rain this year and I have a Broad leaf weed almost like a dandelion that is becoming a problem. You can pluck them right out, however, there are now alot of them. I am concerned about using weed and feed due to our recent high temperatures. Any suggestions?
Answer I am heavily in favor of applying weedkillers by themselves and preferably in liquid formulations. Whatever you choose to do, make quite sure that you know the scientific name of your grass right down to the variety and the scientific name of the weed. With this information, you will be able to choose the best chemical for your problem.
