QuestionHi Ron,
I have read this post and it pretty much describes my new seeding and the fungus. I have over watered and I am located in Florida.
I was going to try the corn meal/gluten to fix it. Its not clear to me how i apply it and at what rate.
If the fungus does in the new seeding can i just reseed and do a better job of not over watering? Is the fungus likely to come back?
Thanks, Mike
Answer Overwatering is a factor in this so try to avoid the practice. Fungi spores are everywhere and when there is a host plant and the temperature and humidity are all present a disease can erupt. I have no experience with corn meal/gluten as a control measure.
