QuestionHi-
I have been asked to bid on mowing a commercial account. It's size is between 2-3 acres, no trees or trimming needed just an open lawn area. I don't know what would be a reasonable bid range for such an account. Please reply at your convenience. Thank You!

Answer I am sorry that I cannot give you a helpful answer because there are many bits of relevant information missing (and I am not sure that you will want to give them to me). Generally a business has to pay for the use of the factors of production. These are:
Rent/lease: For land (Office, storage). For equipment, their running expenses and replacement.
Wages and Salaries: For the people who do the tasks and the ones who make the day to day decisions.
Interest: for the use of the capital invested.
Dividend: for the share holder(s) who had the courage and knowledge to come up with a business plan which enabled the venture to take off and fly.
Essentially it will require your own knowledge and experience and the analytical mind of your accountant.
