QUESTION: please help,i have a fare sized garden and the problem is lots of moss, is there any way i can get rid of it for good without taking my whole lawn up.

ANSWER:  Moss is associated with moisture. Fine tune your watering system to the point where it is well confined to the planted areas. Further fine tune the frequency and duration of the individual zones.
But if the water is due to rainfall, then adequate drainage and air circulation are the answers.

In due time the moss will go away if you create the dry conditions which it does not like. And yes, some kind of vegetation will grow in its place. But it will be Mother Nature's choice and not necessarily to your liking. If so, then you will have to re-establish something to your liking.
