QuestionI planted rye grass and waited until it was 3 1/2" to 4" tall to mow it. It had already started to "fall over" before I mowed it and, afterwards, it is still "laying down". It looks like a bad haircut. What is the solution?
AnswerHow much did you take off this Rye? If it was barely a cut, cut again. Assuming you are in the northern Hemisphere, and it's Winter, you can prepare it for the cold wave by mowing it an inch to 1 1/2 inches in height; this will destroy the Rye plant. Best regards,
