QuestionI just bought fall grass seed and would like to know how late I dare plant it. If it is too late, could it be spread in October for next spring?
I think I'm just in zone 3 - SE MN, Rochester. Thanks.
AnswerGo ahead and seed now. You should have at least a month of good growing weather ahead. Just make sure to water daily for optimal results. Remember, seed simply lies dormant when it is dry. It's only growing when wet.
Good luck!
