QuestionI live on Long Island. What is the correct height, in inches, that a lawn should be cut before the winter?
AnswerAbout 3 inches is ideal. It's really not different than the healthy length for the growing season.
For some reason, I hear that you're either supposed to mow it short or let it grow long, depend on who's talking. Neither is correct. Just keep it normal height.
