First, the bad news.  None of the bigger, licensed makers of CGM formula weedkiller distributes a single bag of their product in the entire state.  You can buy this on the internet easily, but you have to pay for delivery, and this stuff is heavy.

Now, the good news.  You don't actually have to buy a licensed CGM product to get a CGM weedkiller that works.

CGM really is Corn Gluten Meal.  The Iowa State patent holders did not invent Corn Gluten Meal.  They invented the way to use it to stop Weeds from germinating.  But you can get Corn Gluten Meal anywhere they sell it, and it is not uncommon to feed livestock.  As you may possibly know, being that you're in prime midwest farm and livestock territory.  Oh, what a beautiful morning.

Don't worry about over-applying -- unlike chemical weedkillers and fertilizers, CGM is going to enrich your Soil as it breaks down over the Summer.  In this case, the more you use, the BETTER your results will be.  Just make sure you get it there on time.  Need directions?
