QuestionQUESTION: Hi,
I just moved into a new house and the lawn is not as green as the neighbors. I have tried watering the lawn every 3 times a week and the lawn is still green with a hint of yellow. Also clovers are growing on my lawn and I was thinking about using week killers to remove them but I read that clovers are good for the lawn so I don't know if I should remove them or not. I would like to know if there is something that I can use to help the lawn grow more thicker and greener. I am considering using some grass seeds but haven't decided on a course of action yet. Any help or reply would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken
ANSWER: Hi there
First I ned to know what kind of grass you have in your lawn ? If it is K31 or Tall fescue then its common during these days. If you have bermuda or any summer grass then it's time to be dormant for them.I will suggest you reseed it in April.

QUESTION: Thank you for your answer but how do I know what kind of grass it is?
AnswerHi there
Just go to google image and type one by one
1 Tall Fescue
2 Bermuda
3 Rye
Second if your grass is small leave and dormant in winter it should be bermuda. If long leave and green in winter , not performing well during summer it should be Tall fescue
