QuestionHello Tom,
When i planted my landscape, I used Asian Jasmine as the groundcover. I regret that now as it has taken over and is growing up through my other plants and shrubs. I would like to remove it - that is the delimna. How can i kill it out? I have tried digging but it is very labor intensive and my back just isnt up to it. I live in Dallas, TX so now is the time to do it[for me] since it is not 100 degrees outside.
AnswerEarl:
Without some hired help for manual labor, I would use a broad spectrum herbicide, like Roundup, directly and carefully on the leaves of the jasmine.
It may take several applications to finally control it. When using Roundup, leave room in your plans for rain or watering before expecting results.
Best wishes.
