QuestionI just had some Asian jasmine planted to cover a sizeable bare spot under a tree but it does not look like much was planted. There is some existing jasmine that was planted a few years ago. Will the new jasmine grow enough to blend with the existing plants and cover much ground? Thanks in advance.
AnswerHi William;
Tell you what, string out those Asian Jasmine vines and cover with good soil, just enoughm, but leave most of the leaves sticking out.
That will make a lot of those little finger roots along the vines take hold, and grow and send up new plants.
That'll thicken it up.
Throw some alfalfa meal on it too, and a little lava sand. Won't hurt to give it some vitamins.
