How often do I water Newly laid sod and how often do I water reseeded lawn?

Water your new sod twice a day -- morning and night.  This is Sod has to be watered carefully and diligently until roots reach into the new soil underneath.  This is the one thing that homeowners fail at most often.

Ditto, new Seed.  These are delicate baby plants without permanent root systems.  They NEED moisture.  If you are growing a cool grass seed, however, you are facing an uphill battle with seed.  Tell me what kind of Sod or Seed you have put down -- if you have done that already -- and I'll guide you on the next step.  Thanks for writing.
