Question
Hello.  I have a Black & Decker Deluxe weed and grass trimmer model #8902, series 1.  I just ran out of string.  I have had it for quite a long time, and have never had to add new string.  The spool, is not really a spool at all, more like a 24 spoke weaving device.  The spokes are numbered one thru 23.  There are five push pins that move in and out.  and the spokes set on the inside of a flat wheel.  Very strange, not like any I've seen.  I searched the web for info. or a manual, no luck.  This model was a recall, but I am not worried about that.  Does anyone have any idea how to string this beast?  I would be most grateful for any help.  Mary

Sorry, I don't know how to restring them.
I buy the little wheel with the string on it, and just put in the new one.
I have a Ryobi trimmer.
Anyone who sells Black and Decker, and/or works on them should be able to show you how to put one in.
