Question
I was wondering what kind of grass seed I needed to use on my yard.I have lots of oak trees in my yard and I have put lots of grass seed down but it just will not grow.

oak trees are probably the reason.
Grasses need sun to grow, and the lowest sub requirement I know for any variety of grass is 4 to 5 hours of sun per day.
You can prune out enough limbs to get sun on the grass, and still keep the nice shape of the trees, or you could opt for a shade loving ground cover.
