Question
If I put sugar on our grass to get rid of stickers, what about the ants?  Wouldn't the sugar draw alot of ants?

The sugar won't attract anything because it is watered in.
ALL sugar does is nourish the beneficial microbes that enrich the soil so that weeds will not thrive there.
When you have a completely organic program, you attreac beneficial critters like toads, olizards and grass snakes, and THEY eat all the harmful insects.
All three of them love ants, including fire ants.
Toads especially love slugs, and grubs etc.
My lizards eat all the aphids that used to ruin my roses.
Grass snakes like all the little insects, I think.
