our front lawn isn't very good grass most of it is moss and we wondered if we should get rid of it all and start a fresh.wanted to know what would be the best seed to use and what month would be best to re seed it.thank you

Janet, I can help you pick out your ultimate grass and work on a schedule - but first, I need to know where you live and what your property is like.

If you are living in, say, the middle of Texas, you would want to use a totally different grass from a person who lives in Idaho or Pennsylvania.

And if you have a lot of shade, you need a completely different grass from someone that owns a house that bakes in the sun from dawn to dusk.  Most people have a combination of those - if so, I need to know that, too.

It would also be good to know what kind of soil you have, but we can work on that later.  First things first.
