Question
I live as a foreigner from Canada in India - I am trying to grow grass here and I live in Tamil Nadu on the plains. I get a very wet season (2-3 hours of pouring rain 4-5 day a week for 4-6 weeks) and then a very dry season (no rain for seven months straight, temperature of 27-42 Celsius). I really want a lawn because the dust is unbearable in dry season. Is there any variety of grass that endures such harsh conditions - maybe from Texas or Florida?

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what will grow and what will not in that climate.
