Question
Dear Lawn Expert.
I live in Michigan. I need overseeding my lawn. I bought contractor's seeds. I would like to know if I should spread the seed now or wait till next spring and keep the seed over the winter in door.
Please advise.

Hi JZ;
I don't mess with seeds. I put in sod. Got tired of the darned birds eating most of my seeds.
And I live in Texas, and though I have lived in the Northern states a long time ago. I did not plant grass there.
So I don't know about your climate. I have never even been to Michigan.
I searched the web for some correct information for you, and this site seems to have just about all the information you could want on planting grass from seed.
Copy and paste this site in your browser, and I think you will have a good how to guide to print out and keep for refference.
