Is it possible to plant grass seed now in november and will they grow properly.

That depends on where you live, ans what your fdirst date of an expected freeze is, and what kind of grass you are going to plant.
Some grasses are supposed to be planted in the fall, for greening up in the spring.
I don't mess with seeds. I always lay sod.
