IT IS ALWAYS TOO LATE TO APPLY LAWN WEED AND FEED!!!!!

Bill, where have you BEEN?

Weed and Feed has been killing lawns all over the USA this summer.  Half the questions I answered were DOA replies to things like "my grass is brown, I used Weed and Feed, what can I do to bring it back to life?"

But that's not my biggest gripe about WAF.

The worst part, Bill, is that the "W" in WAF Wipes out microbes in your soil that don't hurt anyone but do plenty of Nitrogen Cycling.

And it's Nitrogen Cycling that makes the world go 'round, Bill.

Nitrogen is what your grass needs to grow.  So after wiping out the "weeds" (and everything else) with herbicide, Scotts wants you to put Feed (Nitrogen) back, since there won't be any coming anymore from your own soil.  But they do make a lot of money on this.  Bill, you know how they do it with a clear conscience?  If your grass dies, they'll give you your money back.  But they won't replace your grass, and they won't pay your medical bills when you start to get sick from it.  If you have any children in the house, or a dog or a cat, or a rabbit, Scotts won't pay their medical bills, either.

This stuff is B A D BAD!  You would be better off painting your grass green.

Or if you want to do something nice for your grass, give it a nice dose of Nitrogen.  It does not need that other stuff.

That, my friend, is God's honest truth.
