Question
Greenlight Wipeout is referred to as an excellent broadleaf weed killer in several "Experts" responses. I live in central Illinois (Decatur) and have been unable to find a supply. Can you tell me who makes it so I can find out where I can get it.
My weed problem is Johnson Grass in a blue grass lawn.

Hi Bob;
When I used chemicals, I used WipeOut to kill trees and broadleaf weeds that I could pain some of it on the leaves, and it would kill it out.
WipeOut will do NOTHING to Burmuda grass or any other kind of grass.
I don't know any way of getting Burmuda out of another grass except to pull it out. or till it all in and start over.
Anything that will kill burmuda grass will also kill your bluegrass.

That company makes a number of products.
Walmart carries it here in the Dallas area. I don't know if tey carry it in your area.
Best advice I can give you is to ask a local nurseryman about yur problem.
Maybe they know of another way to get burmuda out, but Since burmuda spreads by runners, and bluegrass doesn't, My guess wiould be the burmuda will overtake the bluegrass.
