Newly seeded lawn getting fungus

Question
Hello,
I just seeded my lawn about 2 weeks ago, came in great, and reseeded a few patches where it puddled.
I noticed just this morning a few small patches of grass that "fell over".
I had this happen to me once before, at my previous house, and was not really that concerned, but I would like to stop this before it spreads throughout the lawn.  Do you have any suggestions as to how to prevent the spread of this and how to help the areas already diseased.
Thank you for any information you can provide.
Ellen

Answer
Hi Ellen'
To treat fungus I use baking soda disolved in water, and spray the area till saturated.
You might have to treat it again as you see areas that may already be infected but haven't shown signs yet.
I cannot find the right amount of baking soda to use, so since 1/4th cup baking soda to 1 gallon water works, that is what I use.
a great wed and feed, and it also kills fungus is corn gluten.
This is the waste that is left when they make corn syrup.
It is sold not for use on lawns and crops.
