Question
Hi all, I found a 3 in. by 1 in. sized green jelly like thing sticky-attached to my St. Augustine lawn. It looked like a child's glob of playstuff but I am sure it is not. I may have a world record and not know it, I was quite surprise to see this thing.

I live next to a swampy forest in the deep South Carolina. Have any idea what it could be?

Well, you have reached some kind of record in my books.
I have never seen or heard of such a thing.
Are you sure someone passing by didn't toss something into your yard?
I would lift it off onto a piece of cardboard and whick it off to a Nurseryman and find out what the heck it is.
Or,,,,,maybe what planet it came from, and does it want to communicate. LOL
that doesn't sound like ANYTHING I have ever seen or heard of occuring naturally.
