Question
I am installing new sod where an old lawn that was overrun by crabgrass once existed. How do I keep the crabgrass from overtaking the new sod. After removing the old lawn and rototilling I notice that the crabgrass is already starting to peek through and it s only been a few days. We have not layed the sod as of yet but it is due to be installed this weekend. Thank you.

What type of sod are you laying?  If you are laying bermudagrass your options are a lot better.  However, you may not be able to lay bermuda depending on where you live...which would be helpfull to know as well.  Please come back to me on what type of sod you are laying.
