Using sugar for healthly weedless grass

Question
Hi, my question is...can I use sugar after an application of grassgrass preventer with lawn food?  After coming across this information, it seem very interesting and reasonable.  What kind of container is the sugar in for spreader on the lawn for an even application?

Answer
Hi sherry;
You can use sugar anytime.
It does not interact with chemicals to harm anything.
It is just with the sugar keeping the beneficial microbes akive, you no longer need chemicals the do the same job, only better and safer.
If you get a little too much of a chemical roduct, you run the risk of destroying your lawn, or the area you got too much stuff in.
If you dump a whole bag of sugar, all it will do is waste the money you opaid for that bag of sugar.
no burns, no problems.
I just open the bag and reach in, get a handful and broadcast it by sweeping my arm in a wide arc and letting the sugar fly out in a fam pattern, then go to the next place. I just walk along, broadcasting ahead of me and emember where i stopped when i come back with another bag. If you overlap, no problem.
It is better to do it on a still day, but if there is a slight breeze and it blows it a little, watch where it blows the sugar, and you can work with the wind instead of against it, unless there is just too much breeze.
If you don't get an exactly even application, it does not matter the way it does with chemicals.
With the microbes enriching the soil, and leaving the grass clippings to compast and feed, I never need to use fertilizer.
If you fell you want faster results, use a good organic fertilizer that will not harm your lawn critters, beneficial insects and beneficial microbes.
Fertilizers kill the microbes, insecticides kill the beneficial insects and lawn critters that will eat all your bad bugs much better then the insecticides will kill them.
No worry about children or animals, and no aggravating Allergies and Asthma more than the pollens already do.
