QuestionI had used grubex on my bluegrass and apparently overdid it in a 20x20 area. The grass never quite comes up right, almost barren. What can I do to revitalize that area?
AnswerHi mike;
I don't know what grubex is. sounds like it is to kill grub worms.
Switch to organics and make a healthy enviornment for toads, lizards, grass snakes and beneficial insects, and the little critters will eat all the grubs etc and you won't have to worry about insects.
I used to have tons of grubs,army worms etc, when I used chemicals. Now I use an organic program, and I never have to deal with ANY unwanted insects. don't have tent catapillars in my trees anymore either. Dem lil critters are good hunters.
Use sugar, and let the beneficial microbes start enrivching the soil.
If you want to feed the grass to give it a faster boost, use a good organic fertilizer, AND the sugar.
