Question
My Mom's been picking blueberry-like berries from her balcony. I've tried them and they're safe; however, the plants look nothing like blueberry plants. The leaves don't match up. They do in fact taste like Blueberries though. I'm just confused. I don't think they're blueberries; but, I know they're safe and similar.

I'd appreciate any help you could give! Thanks!!!

I would pick a stem with berries and take it to a local extension office or horticultural society for identification, or you could try an online search for blue berry plants and see if you can match up some photos:  http://www.nonprofitpages.com/nica/Sharingwood/Berries/Berries.htm
