QuestionI live in Central Florida. Ive found 2 types of ladybug houses, the regular with one or two slots at the bottom, and another with slots all the way up the front. Do you know which would work better?
AnswerShelly:
I have never heard of a ladybug house. You don't need them. If you have aphids, you'll attract ladybugs. If you don't, even if you bought them they wouldn't stick around with no food for the larvae. To attract them, plant Lemon Gem marigolds, Asclepias (Butterfly Weed) or Tansy.
