QuestionI have started my first tomato, cucumber, and squash seedlings in peat moss filled with store bought potting mix. After 3 weeks the plants were looking great receiving ample light, heat and moisture. As I am anticipating until the freeze warnings subside, my plants recently started to wilt and droop while getting lighter in color. I am puzzled and left wondering what I am doing wrong here. Please help. Thanks!
AnswerThe lighter color means they need nitrogen. I would use fish fertilizer. Let them dry a little before watering, they may be too wet. Or too dry. The soil should be moist but not soggy wet. They will need a lot of heat, if they can be brought inside at night they will be happier.
