QuestionI have started a vegetable this year and I live in southwest Ga. I have a ton of tomatoes that are green is it too late for these tomatoes or should I cut them down and plant something else?
AnswerHeidi ... sorry for the delay. I thought that I had answered this but I just got an email that I didn't.
As far as the tomatoes go, if they are still there, keep them there. The seasons are getting longer and longer since our summers are getting more warm and longer. Another thing that you could do if you are afraid that they may die before you get the tomatoes is pick them off the plants and put them in a dry place to ripen. A lot of times putting them in a paper bag will ripen them pretty fast. Good luck.
