QuestionI had someone tell me that rabbit manure is safe to put on all garden plants and tomatoes especially like it. Is this a good idea? What about horse and chicken manure?
AnswerHi ... all kinds of manures are good organic additions to your soil. The number one thing to remember when adding any manures at all is that they are properly composted, not raw. If the manure is raw, it is still full of dangerous pathogens and you would especially not want that on any kind of plant that you would eat such as tomatoes.
Good luck and if I can help you with anything else, just let me know.
