insect in drawers

Question
I find this insect crawling on me and I have found it in linen drawers.  I think I have also spotted the worm or larva. It curls up in almost a "c" shape, it's tiny and brown.  The bug is wingless, tiny and very flat.  Almost looks like a tiny flat brown leaf or at another angle a grain of wheat, only it's very flat.  I think it has two antenna and six legs. When it crawls on me it kind of has a squiggling motion.  It's not an earwig. I know what they look like. I think the best way to describe it is looking like a very tiny brown leaf ?rather a long oval kind of tear drop shape.  I find it mostly in the drawers where I store my dish towels.  I think I have also found some yellow stains on those towels.  I have discovered some clothing moths and am dealing with those.  I know they can leave a yellow stain.  But this isn抰 them.  Like I said it crawls, it has no wings. wings.

It抯 so small I can抰 manage a picture with my camera.  Hope the description is enough.

Thanks for any help you can offer in identifying it and maybe getting rid of it too!

Answer
EA,

The only thing that comes to mind is a psocid (booklouse). These insects are not related to true lice and do not bite. They are often associated with damp, moldy, musty areas. They feed on mold. Your best option is to collect a few using a damp Q-tip in alcohol and get them identified through your county Extension office (www.extension.org). Once identified post a follow up and we can discuss control.
