QuestionQUESTION: I often get flea beetles in my home, mainly the master bedroom which is in the front of the house over the garage. I don't have any plants in my bedroom. How and why are they getting in and how do I get rid of them? There is the attic access door in my walk in closet, could they be getting in from there? If so, what do I do? Thanks for your help!
ANSWER: Angela,
Are you sure these are flea beetles? It is very unusual to find flea beetles indoors. If you post a picture I could confirm the id.

Hope that helps.
Thanks again

AnswerI'm still dubious about the id. There are lots of different beetles that look like this. Some, such as spider beetles, do occur indoors whereas flea beetles do not. If you see any more collect a few using a damp Q-tip or get a good photo if you can.
