Question
I have dollar weed in my garden.  With spring here, it appears to be taking over. It is under my sago palm, in between the alyssum and katie ruella and encroaching upon the coreopsis.  I also have monkey grass along the border of the garden.  Should I remove the dollar weed?  I thought it looked like a good ground cover.  Will it strangle out the other plants/

Helen, dollar weed is very invasive. Since you have other plants in that section, I would definitely remove it. To prevent and latent seeds from germinating, spread Preen over the area and apply a mulch to prevent any other weeds from surfacing.
