QuestionSome insect is eating the leaves on my winter hardy.I have had this plant for approx 15 yrs and this started last year. Whateveris eating the leaves etas them so they look like lace. only the flesh parts are eaten, how do i rid myself of this problem. Woburn Ma USA

There are a number of insects that will do this kind of damage, called "skeletonizing". You might try something like spinosad which is a very low toxicity insecticide derived from soil microbes. See http://www.livingwithbugs.com/spinosad.html for info about spinosad. Most healthy plants will recover from this kind of damage once the feeding is stopped.
