Question
I live in southern Canada,and possibly have a problem with skunks living under a front concrete stoop.I have been meaning to have the cavity under the stoop filled in,but haven't gotten around to it yet.My neighbour called me tonite,and thinks I may have skunks under my stoop.My question is whether or not a product called Giant Destroyer might evict the skunks if they are indeed under my stoop.A local extermination company I called said it might work.Apparently,you light a fuse on the Giant Destroyer,and toss in into the cavity to smoke out pests.I have today sprinkled flour at the possible entry points to the space under the stoop,and will look for tracks tomorrow.

Stop. Don't do it. If you read the label, it should read that the product should NOT be used in and around structures, especially occupied structures. A Canadian resident burned his building down trying to fumigate a woodchuck, the woodchuck got a way. I haven't even mentioned the toxic fume issue.

Is there a particular reason why you refuse to trap or use a one-way door? Visit http://icwdm.org for info on how to trap a skunk. Also follow all provinical and local wildlife laws. Learn them BEFORE you do anything rash.
