Snails eating my annuals and perennials

Question
Help!  I have a snail problem in my garden.  Early in the season, I sprinkled pellets to kill snails (not sure if it was organic or not) and I thought that would be the end of it.  But now I see snails proliferating around my vinca, coreopsis,  petunias, begonias, xanadu, etc. etc  I even see them in my potted plants.  What is the problem?  The snails seem to love everything in my garden!

Answer
It takes several applications of slug and snail bait to kill off the entire population. At this time of year, the eggs continue to hatch for up to 21 days. Therefore, it may take several weeks before they're totally eradicated.

I use Sluggo in my flower garden and an organic product called EscarGo from Gardens Alive in my vegetable gardens. Both are highly effective, but must be reapplied after a rain or a one week period.

Good luck, and please write again if I can ever be of assistance.

Regards,

Mike
