QuestionI have seen little brown bugs on my French Lavender..They are about the size of an aphid and are mainly on the leaves.I cant find any articles with this insect on lavender,thus don't know how to handle them if need be? The plant is on a balcony and isn't near others... My location is Portland, OR Thanks a bunch!!!

The best treatment for any soft-bodied plant pest (aphids, spider mites, scale insects) is insecticidal soap. Soap is relatively safe for both you and the plant and is very effective. The only downside is that soap does not have any residual activity so may need to be used several times per growing season.
