I have a groundhog living under my deck. I also have a live trap. What bait do I use to lure him into it. Thanks Rich

First, you need to determine the laws in your state regarding wildlife damage control.
SEcond, what does the law require regarding the disposition of the animal. Not all states allow translocation of wildlife, ie. dumping it somewhere else.

third, why bait? If you can force him into the trap that is a better option. Plus before you trap, make sure you know how to handle skunks. they have a strange tendency to be caught by people who are ill prepared.

Finally, when you say live trap, are you referring to cage or box traps? I don't recommend footholds (which are also live traps) to be used by non-fur trappers as there are issues that can arise that non-trappers would find difficult to handle.
