Question
We have some property in north central Arkansas.  On that property is a year-around stream that flows into the river a 1/2 mile down the way. There is a very busy beaver/or a family of them that is taking down the trees very effectively!  We're worried about loosing all the trees!  What could we do to encourage them to move?  If we were to trap them what should we use as bait?  Thank you for considering this question.

First, you have to find out what the laws are in AK regarding the trapping and control of beavers.
Second, since your problem is tree cutting (rather than flooding) you have only two options. Lethal control or wrapping trees with wire mesh to prevent gnawing.
