Question
If my dog, a small poodle, sniffs raccoon poop could she get a disease from doing that?  If so, what?  Should I  all my vet right away?  (This is Sunday, can't call vet.)

I believe it is possible. How possible is the real question. Remember, dogs have been sniffing poop for centuries. so the risk has to be put into perspective. If the dog ate the poop, that would make the risk substantially higher. I think it would be wise to call your vet tomorrow. He would be be able to give you more direction.
