QuestionI found a one inch long worm, hammer-headed, light brown with a black stripe running the lenght of it on its back. It also has a wider black ring around the neck(? behind the head). What have I found and is it harmful?? Thanks.

Insect larvae are very difficult to identify by description alone. Even with a picture it can be difficult unless it is a common species. If you can post a picture I'll be glad to take a look at it, however.
