QuestionI have some potted plants I put out side this summer to receive more sun. I want to keep them by bringing them back in before the cold weather hits.
Question is, what can I spray on these plants that really works, to kill spiders and other pest i don't want to come in with them, of course with out harming the plants.
thank you,
Shirley
AnswerShirley, if you suspect insects are on the plant, I would first spray them with a horticultural oil. This product can be purchased at any garden center. It kills the insects and suffocates their eggs.
Once you bring them indoors, spray them every week with an insecticidal soap, another product available in garden centers. You should only need two or three applications to kill any small insects that may have survived the moved indoors.
By the way, both of these products are organic and will not harm humans, pets, or the environment.
I hope this answered your question. Please write again if I can ever be of assistance.

Mike
