Gardens and Bees

Question
I am highly allergic to bees and am trying to find plants that do not attract bees to put in my garden.  Any suggestions?

Answer
any plant that flowers(even male plants) will produce flowers that will attrack polinators. ferns and plants that produce by spores don't. plants use many types of polinators. not all use bees. cardinal plants attrack hummingbirds. butterfly bushes attrack butterflies. ginger plants use slugs as polinators. however that doesn't mean bees won't be attracked to the nectar of plants they won't normally polinate. it would be best to visit a local garden center/nursery to see what they sell in your area. ask them what they would advise for your area. i'm in southern NJ. i would recommend perennial plants that are grown for their foliage. and then remove the flowers as they develop. type BEE ALLERGY into your search engine and see what they advise as good plants for you to use.
sorry i couldn't be of more help. your doctor may advise you to stay out of the garden if your allergy is that severe. i can't recommend certain plants w/out knowing more about your bee allergy condition.
