Question
i have bearded iris  in my garden and something has eaten them the down to the bulb over a period of a few days. co;uld it be squarills, pheasants ,deer , or any other aniamls. i have seen no track so really don't think it is a deer.

I doubt it is squirrels unless the winter has been long and hard in your area. With the little information I have, I would speculate that the problem is either woodchucks or rabbits.

Any chance a photo could be sent? [email protected]  Any other plants damaged? Where are you located?  Does the damage occur at night? During the day?
