Question
I had a rat or what looked like to me, a giant grey mouse about 8" long plus the tail trash out my storage shed. It had a huge nest and had urinated and pooped in every corner it could. I set several mouse & rat traps but nothing. How can I rat proof my shed? Bait?

Rat proofing a shed requires simply securing the building of any hole larger than 1/4. Be careful though, that you don't trap a rat inside the building. They will chew to get out. Metal is better than wood. The harder the metal, ie. steel the better.

Hardware cloth can work as well. Get galvanized and be sure it is strong.
