Question
I had a skunk under my back porch which I eventually had trapped and removed.  The smell still seems to linger.  Especially since we have had a lot of rain this summer.  Is there anything I can put around my house to elimiate this oder?

Vinegar will neutralize skunk scent.  Use a pump up garden sprayer and spray down the effected area.  Vinegar will kill green vegetation, grass, etc.  But it only kills the tops and not the roots so it will recover. Wash out the sprayer immediately as vinegar may damage it if left over time.

If more skunks return I make a deterrent system that would discourage them from unwanted areas.  Generally there are a number of skunks if there is one.  The smell you notice might be new ones as well.  Here is my info site.
