Insect control is a complex subject that is not my area of expertise.  Keep me in mind when the deer and raccoons find you.  I suggest contacting your state ag dept for sources of info about organic insect control.  I have unofficially achieved good organic control for my own farm but it took a great deal of book study as well as real life experimenting.  My methods would be somewhat different than yours at a different locale with different pests and different crops.
